Today is Ontario Dress Purple Day

Today is the day when children’s aid societies, school boards and schools, child care centres, and other key partners wear purple to build awareness about the rights of children and youth to safety and well-being, and the responsibility of adults and community services to help children, youth, and families who need support.

Here is a photo of some of our staff gathered to show their support and appreciation for the efforts of everyone who helps to ensure the safety of children in our community.

Take photos of yourself wearing purple, and post them to Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #IBREAKthesilence, and be sure to tag us @hamiltonccas.
