Field Placement Opportunities

Social Work Field Placements - this Society provides placements for students in a number of different programs. McMaster University, Ryerson University and Conestoga College regularly place students here. We have also hosted students from many other institutions of higher learning including; Dalhousie University, University of Southampton, Mohawk College and University of Buffalo.

Field Placements for Other Professional Programs - medical students, teachers-in-training and others have made individual arrangements for placements. We have also participated in professional education by providing community experts for e-learning programs such as problem based learning courses through McMaster School of Nursing.

Most co-op placements involve students assuming responsibility for clerical duties.

The CCAS is also a place where students with special needs have had the opportunity to develop workplace skills.
