A donation to the Catholic Children's Aid Society of Hamilton helps support our work with children and families. Your gift can brighten children's lives in our community.

How Your Donation Helps

Your gift will help children at risk in our care with education and special tutoring programs, summer camp and other recreation opportunities, school uniforms, and some of the extras missing from the lives of the most vulnerable in our community.

What is the Benefit of Online Giving?

CCAS has partnered with CanadaHelps.org, a not-for-profit charity portal, to facilitate online donations on our behalf.

CanadaHelps.org offers its services at a very low cost to the charity and at no cost to the donor.

CanadaHelps.org charges the lowest rates available. Its charitable mandate is to aid the charitable sector by reducing some of the administrative costs associated with fundraising as well as to make donating easier for Canadians.

By streamlining our expenses we will be able to give more funds directly to the needs of children in our care. Online donations and communications reduces administration costs and provides specific benefits to the donor, such as lower material consumption, personalized communication options (donors can regulate how recent and frequent the charity communicates with the donor), and faster response times.

Respecting Privacy and Security

All information, including financials, personal identification and any other records, are securely protected behind multiple security measures. CanadaHelps.org has worked extensively with major technology companies and online security experts to ensure that the site far exceeds security requirements. More information about these security and privacy measures is available on the CanadaHelps website.
